Biography
Professor Linert is currently the vice head of the Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry, Vienna University of Technology. Prof. Linert has been recognized with several scientific prizes and awards:
- "Rudolf Wegscheider-Prize" from the Austrian Academy of Science (1993), for contributions to our knowledge about nonaqueous solutions and solvatochromic compounds.
- "Sandoz-Prize" for chemistry (1994) (bioinorganic kinetic and molecular-biological work).
- Title of "Ao. Univ.-Prof." based on scientific activities (1996).
- Call for a full Professorship ("Oridinariat") for "Inorganic Chemistry" at the "Karl Franzens-University" in Graz (1999).
- Two awards for members of the scientific group for the best master thesis and one award for the best PhD thesis given by the Austrian Chemical Society (1993-1998).
Fields of Interest
