Biography
Dr. Marc Kanbar graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 2015 and is currently specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. He has a special interest in reproductive medicine and earned his PhD from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2023. His research primarily focuses on fertility preservation and restoration strategies for prepubertal boys, with a particular emphasis on in vitro spermatogenesis. Dr. Kanbar is a research associate at the ANDRO Lab, part of the REPR Research Unit (IREC) at the Catholic University of Louvain, where he supervises master’s students and serves on steering committees for PhD candidates. Dr. Kanbar is a member of the Global Andrology Forum (GAF), the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE), and the Belgian Society of Human Reproduction (BSRM).
