Biography
Professor Susan Lutgendorf is a Clinical Health Psychologist and a Professor in the Clinical Science Training Area in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa. She also has faculty appointments in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology and is a member of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is the Program Director of the NIGMS-funded T32 Mechanisms of Health and Disease at the Behavioral and Biomedical Interface Training Program. She has recently served as the President of the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society, and as the President of the American Psychosomatic Society. Her current research is funded by the National Cancer Institute.
