The Journal of Gene Regulation (JGR) is a peer-reviewed science-based journal focusing on the regulatory mechanisms of gene expression in human disease.
Our aims are broad and encompass all forms of scientific research in the field of gene regulation. We are particularly passionate about the state-of-art technologies in genome editing that have the potential to be translated into new therapeutics for different human diseases.
The scope of our research includes, but is not limited to:
- Gene regulation at the transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels.
- New genome editing technologies.
- RNA biology.
- Non-coding RNA and human diseases.
- Epigenetics and human diseases.
- Gene therapy.
- RNA interference.
- RNA drug development.
The journal is particularly interested in publishing innovative work that is at an early stage of development but that could shift the current paradigms. We are happy to receive original articles as well as short reviews and commentaries in these categories with particular emphasis on theoretical novelty or translational implications. The international associate editors with exclusive expertise will have the freedom to make an independent decision, allowing original and novel research, both mainstream and non-mainstream, to be reviewed and accepted.
